The Middlesboro Sewer System consists of a collection system and treatment facility containing around 50 miles of sewer lines and 23 pump (lift) stations that carry wastewater from homes, businesses, restaurants, industries, and schools to the treatment plant for appropriate treatment.

 

The Middlesboro WWTP consistently produces high quality discharges in order to meet some of the most stringent effluent limitations as dictated by state and federal regulatory agencies.
